Gilliatte begins a long-term relationship with Kroger that continues to this day. Our first job is the beautiful store at 79th and Fall Creek in Indianapolis. Our team grows to 33 full-time employees.
Bank One, Circuit City, Pay Less Supermarkets, United Artists Theater, TJ Maxx, Office Maxx, Saturn, Riley Hospital, Kroger. That’s an impressive list for a ten-year-old company and a tribute to Gerry's hard work and business ethic.
The CVS relationship continues to grow as Gilliatte is selected as 1 of 3 exclusive contractors for the Chicago market. Gordon Food services has become an aligned customer. The public sector work explodes with libraries, BMV's and schools.
In our 20th year, Gilliatte displays a real flair for banking, as we handle the old National Bank in Broadripple, the Star Bank in Noblesville and the Chase Bank in Greenwood - in addition to the numerous other projects dotting the greater Midwest. On another financial front this is the year that Tom Ritman, and Adam Gilliatte purchased the firm from founder Gerry W. Gilliatte.
We celebrate our 61st Kroger store and 87th CVS store! Design/Build Apartment projects have become a new addition to our expanding portfolio.
Although the market is experiencing an economic downturn, Gilliatte stays strong and plans for the future. We totally redesign and remodel our office for more efficiency, produce new marketing materials and implement a strategic plan for continued growth.
The relationship with Kroger & CVS/Pharmacy continues. We've been building Primrose Schools and Rainbow Station Early Learning Centers, as well as luxury apartment buildings. Projects continue to grow and Gilliatte is 30 years strong!
